When choosing a shredder, portability is typically a consideration. While traditional recycling centres aren’t required to be mobile, demolition companies, construction companies, landscapers, and other businesses may profit the most from the option to shred on-site. Shredded materials are easier to carry from the project site and, in many situations, can be reused right on the job.
Screening equipment is the machinery that is used to separate one material from another during mechanical screening procedures. Screening equipment is used in the second portion of the material handling process to filter raw material from a crusher or quarry into finer grades, bringing it closer to an end product.
Conveyors are seen on almost every material handling site because they are the most efficient method of transferring material from one area to another. The Groundworx Co. represents several conveyor lines and custom build to meet specific customer needs.
Material is fed into chamber where wear bars on a spinning rotor pick up the material and throw it against a wall of wear plates. The impact against the wall fractures the material. Impactors can accept a variety of sizes of feed material and are capable of crushing to a very small spec.
Cone crushers are used to make a finished product at a fast rate. Traditionally, cone crushers have been utilized as secondary and tertiary crushing stations. Although all cone crushers use compression to crush material, there are many internal differences models.
Jaw Crushers are typically used for primary crushing; taking your biggest feed material and crushing it to a more manageable size. They can be used in a variety of processes and thrive in aggregate and recycling applications.
